Privacy Notice

This website is built to learn as little about you as is technically possible. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party content, so it builds no profile of you and nothing about you leaves this site. The only data anyone receives is the handful of technical details every web server needs in order to send you a page. They are described in full below.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Manuel Luci, operating under the name Spinne Software. You can reach the controller at manuelluci173@gmail.com for any question about this notice or to exercise the rights listed below.

What is processed, and why

To send you this page, the server that hosts it necessarily receives your IP address, along with the date and time of the request, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string. This is a technical requirement of the internet, not a choice: without your IP address there is no return address to deliver the page to.

These entries are written to the hosting provider's server logs and are used only to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse, such as denial-of-service attacks. They are never used to profile you and never combined with other data.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used under California law. There is no mechanism on this site to do either.

Legal basis

The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in operating the website and keeping it secure. No consent is requested because none is required for this processing, and because no cookies or tracking technologies are used.

Who hosts the site

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and served through the Fastly content delivery network. Both act as data processors and both are established in the United States, so delivering any page necessarily moves the technical data above across borders. Where that data originates in a region that restricts such transfers — the European Union, for example — the transfer relies on both providers' certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. Their handling of the data is described in the GitHub Privacy Statement and the Fastly Privacy Policy.

How long anything is kept

The controller keeps no logs and no copy of them. The entries described above exist only for as long as the hosting and content delivery providers retain them under their own policies, linked above; the controller sets no separate period and can neither extend nor shorten theirs.

Children

This site is not directed at children and asks nobody for personal data. The technical log entries described above are the only data recorded, and they are not used to identify anyone, child or adult.

What is not here

No cookies. No local or session storage. No analytics or measurement of any kind. No advertising or tracking pixels. No embedded videos, maps or social widgets. No contact form. No newsletter. The typeface is served from this same domain rather than from a font provider, so no request about you leaves this site.

The page links to a LinkedIn company profile. Nothing is sent to LinkedIn unless you choose to click that link, at which point LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you may ask the controller for access to your personal data, or for its correction, erasure or restriction, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Given that the only data processed is a server log entry that is not linked to your identity, the controller will usually be unable to locate any data relating to you without further information from you.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Because the controller is established in Italy, the competent authority is the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali; residents of the European Economic Area may also contact the authority in their own country.

Visitors outside Europe

This site is operated from the European Union. It is not directed at, and does not offer goods or services to, people in any particular country outside it. Wherever you read this from, the commitments above are the same: the only data processed is a server-log entry, it is used solely to deliver and secure the site, it is never used to profile you, and it is never sold. Write to the address above with any request about your data, whichever law you rely on.

Changes

If this notice changes, the revised version will be published on this page. It was last updated on 10 July 2026.
